The Black Out Game
So, I watched the FSU game versus Boston College last night. What a disappointment! The Atlantic Division was in their hands and they blew it! Win out the remaining ACC schedule and they were in the ACC Championship. Now, we have to pray that Wake Forest loses again and that FSU can beat Maryland. There is too much inconsistency in FSU football. We have talent, but that talent does not always show up to play. These kids have it made. They are offered scholarships to play football and get an education. Then, some of them decide to get into trouble, jeopardizing the team. This past week, five players are suspended for fight in the student union. Hello? Are we stupid? Why do these kids act out? You would think they would focus on academics so they can play football. If they are that talented, they may have a shot at the NFL. Why do they risk their chances? Now, the five dummies that fought on campus; did their suspension effect the game? Maybe? Maybe not? We will not know for sure. Maybe more target for Ponder could have helped us win. Or, may Mickey Andrews needs to go back to basics and teach the defensive how to tackle. Tackling was non-existent last night. BC should have be stopped so many times but the defensive just allowed them to move forward, down the field. Were there bad calls, yes. But, that should not matter, FSU did not play FSU football. As a fan, I am truly angry and tired of FSU football not being a dominating force in the NCAA.
